Pluko is the project of Sam Martinsen, a producer and DJ born in 2000 in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, now based in New York City. Starting as a teenage bedroom producer on SoundCloud - influenced by Flume, ODESZA and Porter Robinson - he quickly reached main stages at Coachella, Ultra and Electric Forest. His sound has shifted from future bass through experimental electronics toward uptempo techno and trap, with the OXY EP series (2024-2025) marking a harder new direction. He also runs his own label and creative collective, Splendid Society.
Pluko released an EDM album with singles BAD4ME, BURN [154 BPM], and REACHING4U; in June 2026 he performed a DJ set in Los Angeles for Brownies & Lemonade.
In February 2025 he released the EP OXY2* (6 tracks, 16 minutes) on the label Boom Records LLC, including a collaboration with producer Devault.
In 2025 he released the album OXY, which accumulated over 12.8 million streams on platforms.
In 2024 he collaborated with Marshmello on the single Forever, which surpassed 5.2 million streams, and released the EP OXY1* with over 7.7 million streams.
Pluko conducted the OXY Tour with performances in American cities including Austin (September 2025) and San Francisco (December 2025).
