Petra Janů (born Jana Petrů, 19 November 1952, Prague) is a Czech singer and actress who emerged in the late 1970s as one of the few genuine rock voices on the Czechoslovak pop scene. She made her name with the albums Motorest (1977) and Exploduj! (1980), collaborating closely with guitarist-composer Ota Petřina, before moving into mainstream pop and winning the Zlatý slavík award for Female Singer of the Year three consecutive times (1987-1989). Over a career spanning more than fifty years she has released over twenty albums and appeared in thirteen musicals.

    Petra Janů christened the new EP "Lights of Reflectors" at the Prague Malostranská beseda - six compositions from Ota Petřina's workshop in new arrangements, including a duet with singer Láskou.
