
Concert in the Colors of Semafor
A concert celebrating the classic hits of Prague's legendary Semafor theatre, performed by its members Lucie Černíková and Petr Macháček with a live swing band.
Petr Macháček (born 19 December 1977 in Nový Bydžov) is a Czech actor and singer who graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 2003, where he studied under Professor Jiří Kotouč. He performs as a guest at leading Prague stages - Semafor, Bez zábradlí, Na Jezerce, Hudební divadlo Karlín and others. A career highlight was playing the Postman in the jazz buffo-opera Dobře placená procházka at the National Theatre, directed by Miloš and Petr Forman, alternating with the work's author Jiří Suchý; the production also toured to Valencia, Spain. Alongside theatre, he appears in film and television and regularly performs with the Jakub Šafr Trio and Swing Trio Avalon.
At the Semafor Theatre on February 15, 2025, the premiere of the production Sli 4 Slitri took place, in which Machacek participates as one of the performers.
In January 2025, a new production of Kytice premiered at the Semafor Theatre, in which Machacek performs as part of Svatebni kosile.
In January 2025, Machacek also appeared in the premiere of the comedy Apartma v hotelu Plaza at the Na Jezerce Theatre.
In April 2023, Machacek returned to his role in the revived production Dobre placena prochazka at the National Theatre, which ran until October 2025.
