Petr Fořt is a Czech festival promoter and artistic director, co-founder of Rock for People. Together with Michal Thomes he launched the festival in August 1995 in Český Brod - originally a one-off event for friends and local rock fans - and built it into one of the largest open-air festivals in Central Europe, now held at Park 360 on the Hradec Králové airfield. He also runs Brod 1995, an annual event that keeps the festival's hometown roots alive.

Even during the ongoing 31st edition, the organizers announced the date and first headliner for Rock for People 2027: the festival will take place June 2-5, 2027, and the main star will be Blink-182.
