Peter Slavov is a Bulgarian-born, New York-based double bassist, composer, and educator who has been performing professionally since the mid-1990s. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he is a member of Joe Lovano's Us Five and Classic Quartet, and has recorded or performed with Quincy Jones, Alfredo Rodriguez, George Garzone and many others across more than 40 countries. His recording credits span over 35 albums, and he currently teaches bass at Berklee.
