Paul Wallner is a Vienna-based music producer and one half of the electronic duo HVOB, which he co-founded with Anna Müller in 2012. Working out of his Vienna studio, he shapes and produces tracks built on Müller's compositions and hypnotic vocals, landing somewhere between minimalist electronica, house and art-pop. HVOB have headlined Sónar, Primavera Sound and Fuji Rock, recorded a BBC Essential Mix, and are widely regarded as one of the finest live electronic acts in the world.
HVOB launched their world tour The Silver Cage, which combines their music with a self-programmed light show.
The Silver Cage tour visited dozens of cities across Europe, America and Asia; in October 2025, there was also a performance at Prague's ARCHA+.
HVOB released the single 'What They Gave Me' through Tragen Records - the first preview of the new artistic cycle The Silver Cage.
HVOB performed a sold-out concert at Vienna's Konzerthaus, which ARTE documented in a film.
The soundtrack 'To Close Your Eyes And See Fire (OST)' was released - another addition to HVOB's discography following the album TOO (2022).
