Otta Hejnice

About

Otto Hejnic is a Czech jazz drummer, composer, and bandleader. A graduate of the Prague State Conservatory, he spent several years playing in the USA before founding the Otto Hejnic Trio in 2009 with pianist Ondrej Krajňák and double bassist Josef Fečo. The trio has released multiple acclaimed albums on the Slovak label Hevhetia and is regarded as one of the leading acts on the Czech-Slovak jazz scene.
