Ota Balage (born Baláž, 9 November 1961, Prague) is a Czech multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and conductor. He rose to prominence through the bands Tango, Nová Růže and BSP - the trio he formed with Kamil Střihavka and Michal Pavlíček - and served as chief conductor for major Czech musical productions including Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita at the Hudební divadlo Karlín. Since 2014 he has led his own funky-soul-rock outfit Balage Band, and since 2017 he heads the rock department at the International Conservatory in Prague.
Balage Band has planned a series of open-air performances for summer 2026 - in July in Lhota pod Libčany and Vrbné pod Pradědem, in August in Rumburk and in September in Oldřišov.
In June 2024, the live album Ota Balage 60 Live II (Narozeninový Koncert, Live) was released on Spotify and Amazon Music with seven songs from the birthday concert.
