About

Orbith, born Aleš Gehringer in Brno in 1977, has been a fixture of the Czech electronic music scene since the late 1990s. He started out in 1996 at Brno's Fan Favorit club and was among the first DJs to bring electro to Czech audiences, winning Newcomer of the Year in 2001 and Best DJ at the Czech Dance Music Awards in 2003. Over the years he has played alongside names like Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Sven Väth, and appeared at festivals including Creamfields, Summer of Love and Beats for Love. He currently holds a residency at Brno's Exit Club, where he runs his own night called PHASE.
