Christmas Concert at Lucerna 2026
A Christmas concert featuring Felix Slovacek and his big band at Prague's Lucerna. Well-known artists perform classic holiday hits.
Ondřej Ruml (born 1981 in Jablonec nad Nisou) is a Czech singer and actor who graduated from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. He came to wider attention in 2008 with a runner-up finish on the Czech X Factor, and has since built a reputation as one of the country's most distinctive male voices, working across jazz, swing and art pop both as a solo artist and with the Matej Benko Quintet. He is equally active in theatre - his role in the musical Lazarus earned him a Thalia Award nomination - and holds the Singer of the Year title from the Žebřík music poll.
Ondřej Ruml performed in Jana Krause's show, where he presented a single from his new album Vždycky to tu bylo.
Ruml released his author album Vždycky to tu bylo - the first truly cohesive author album in fifteen years, recorded with producer Igor Ochepovsky at the intersection of electro-pop, art rock, and alternative.
For summer 2026, Ruml is announced as the opening act for the band Chinaski on their Open Air tour and will also perform at the Colours of Ostrava festival.
Ruml released the single Viděl jsem, the first preview of the upcoming album, with a music video.
Ruml participated in the thirteenth season of the dance competition StarDance on Czech television; his partner was Andrea Třeštíková.
