Ondřej Nepela was a Czechoslovak figure skater, three-time World Champion (1971–1973) and Olympic gold medallist at the 1972 Sapporo Games. He was one of the dominant skaters of his era and later performed with the professional ice show Holiday on Ice. The film Šampión depicts his story around the peak of his career.
