A Czech heist comedy about a thief returning from prison to his hometown and planning a new crime. Directed by Ondřej Hudečka, the first Czech filmmaker to win at Sundance.
Ondřej Hudeček (born 1987) is a Czech film director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and editor. He became the first Czech filmmaker ever to win an award at the Sundance Film Festival, for his short film Furiant (2015). A graduate of FAMU and the Trebas Institute in Montreal, he also gained acclaim with the documentary Pásky z Nagana (2019). His feature debut Poberta (2026) is a heist comedy set in South Moravian Strážnice during the COVID pandemic.
