About
Olga Scheps (born 4 January 1986 in Moscow) is a German pianist of Ukrainian-Jewish heritage who has lived in Cologne since 1992. She studied with Pavel Gililov at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Köln, caught the attention of Alfred Brendel early in her career, and has been an exclusive Sony Classical artist since 2009 - her debut album Chopin won an ECHO Klassik award, and her Satie album (2016) reached number one on the German classical charts. Alongside a core Romantic repertoire, she regularly crosses genre lines, as on her 100% Scooter - Piano Only album of solo piano arrangements of techno hits.

In May and June 2025, Scheps joined the National Arts Centre Orchestra tour of Korea and Japan, where she performed Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto under the baton of Alexander Shelley.
