Oldřich Kříž is a Czech opera singer, actor and theatre director born in 1960 in Liberec. A baritone trained at the Prague State Conservatory, he is a laureate of the Mozartova Praha and Belvedere Vienna competitions. He joined the State Opera Prague in 1994 and later became a soloist with the National Theatre opera company. He also takes on occasional film and TV roles, including King Ludwig in the fairy-tale film Jak si nevzít princeznu.
