Nová syntéza (New Synthesis) is a jazz-rock project by the Czech band Blue Effect, created in collaboration with the Jazz Orchestra of Czechoslovak Radio (JOČR). The two albums of the same name, released in the 1970s and composed by guitarist Radim Hladík, are considered landmarks of Czech jazz-rock.
