About

Noel Gallagher is a British guitarist, singer and songwriter, the primary creative force behind Oasis - the Manchester band that defined 1990s Britpop. He wrote the vast majority of the group's catalogue, including global anthems like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger", and after the band's 2009 split continued under the name Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. In 2025 he reunited with his brother Liam for the 41-date Oasis Live '25 world tour, and in February 2026 collected the BRIT Award for Songwriter of the Year in his hometown of Manchester.
