Nicolas Winding Refn is a Danish film director and screenwriter known for his stylised visuals and dark, violent narratives. He gained international recognition with Drive (2011) starring Ryan Gosling, and is also known for the Pusher trilogy. His debut film Dealer (1996) also marked the acting debut of Mads Mikkelsen.
