Neal "Sugar" Caine is a New York-based double bassist whose career spans several generations of American jazz. He spent three years in Elvin Jones' Jazz Machine and has played with Diana Krall and Betty Carter, while working with Harry Connick Jr. since 2000. He has also shared the stage with Wynton and Branford Marsalis and Jon Batiste.
