About
Mr. Irish Bastard are a Celtic punk band from Münster, Germany, founded in 2006 by Irish singer Chris Lennon and banjo player Gran E. Smith. Over two decades they have released seven studio albums and played more than 1,000 shows across Europe, China and Japan, sharing stages with The Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. Their sound fuses traditional Irish folk with punk aggression, built around banjo, tin whistle and accordion.
