About

Mojše Band is a Slovak trio rooted in the Jewish musical heritage of Central Europe, drawing on the tradition of klezmer players who once lived in Slovakia. Led by Michal Paľko on cimbalom and vocals, the band blends traditional material with jazz, world music and chanson. Their Electro project pushes the sound further, setting acoustic klezmer instruments against electronic processing and contemporary production. They have performed at Pohoda, Sziget and the Jewish Culture Festival in Kraków, among others.
