Festival at Žižkostel with movement and artistic activities for all ages.
Mish Rais (born Michaela Raisová) is a Czech performer, dramaturg, pedagogue and researcher specialising in dance improvisation and instant composition. She holds degrees in linguistics, authorial theatre and a doctorate in authorial acting from DAMU, Prague, where she also teaches. With Jana Novorytová she forms the duo Částečné znejistění (Partial Uncertainty), which since 2014 has staged original performances and over forty public-space interventions. She co-edited Tajně naživu / Secretly Alive (NAMU, 2024), the first Czech publication to systematically contextualise dance improvisation.
Mish Rais and Bohumíra Eliášová led a workshop Instant Composition in Theory and Practice as part of the Dance Context Live series at HAMU (28.11.2025).
Duo Partial Uncertainty performed in the project Just a Little Here... at Prague's Žižkostel (28.9.2025) together with Veronika Knytlová and Anna Línová.
Partial Uncertainty presented the Prague premiere of the new performance Send a View from Somewhere You Won't Go at the Žižkostel Community Center (20.12.2024).
The publication Secretly Alive (NAMU, 2024) was released, co-edited by Mish Rais - the first Czech book systematically mapping dance improvisation and instant composition.
CreWcollective, of which Mish Rais is a member, presented another installment of the series Up to the Waist at Žižkostel (18.3.2025).
