Miroslav Bambušek (born 1975 in Louny) is a Czech playwright, theatre director and filmmaker. He studied philosophy, French and ancient Greek at Charles University and has been writing plays since the age of sixteen - over forty to date, alongside film scripts. His projects, such as the Perzekuce.cz cycle and Cesty energie, use culture as a platform for political and social reflection. He has received Alfréd Radok Awards and prizes from Divadelní noviny.
