Miloslav Šmídmajer (born 1959 in Litoměřice) is a Czech film director, producer and screenwriter. After studying Czech and German philology at Charles University he worked at Czechoslovak Television, then from the 1990s built a career making documentary portraits of cultural figures and feature films. He made his feature directing debut with the fairy tale Peklo s princeznou (Hell with Princess, 2009) and in 2026 released the family fairy tale Princezna stokrát jinak.
