Miloslav Oswald is a conductor of Slovak origin who studied opera singing and orchestral conducting at VŠMU in Bratislava. He served as a regular guest conductor at the Slovak National Theatre, leading productions of Turandot, Nabucco and La Traviata. Since 2002 he has been based in the Czech Republic, most notably as artistic director of opera and operetta at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc, with further collaborations at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec and the Silesian Theatre in Opava.
