About

Miloslav König (born 1984) is a Czech actor and singer-songwriter, a graduate of DAMU (Prague's Academy of Performing Arts). He is a core member of the Divadlo Na zábradlí theatre in Prague, where his portrayal of Michel Houellebecq in the production Veřejní nepřátelé earned him the Cena Thálie - the Czech theatre's top acting prize - in October 2024. Alongside his stage and film work (Úsvit, Zápisník alkoholičky), he records solo albums on which he plays all instruments himself, describing the style as "contemplative folk".

    On October 5, 2024, König received the Thálie Award for best male acting performance in drama for the role of Michel Houellebecq in the production Public Enemies (Na zábradlí Theatre, directed by Jan Mikulášek).
