Miles Teller (born February 20, 1987, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania) is an American actor who broke through with his critically acclaimed performance as a driven jazz drummer in Whiplash (2014), earning a BAFTA Rising Star nomination. He cemented his blockbuster status playing Lt. Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), which grossed over $1.49 billion worldwide. He trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
