Milan Tomášik

About

Milan Tomášik (born 1981, Bojnice, Slovakia) is a choreographer, dancer and teacher working internationally in contemporary dance and performing arts. He trained at the J. L. Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica, the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, and graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels in 2004 under Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. A co-founder of the Brussels-based Les SlovaKs Dance Collective, he established his own company Milan Tomášik & Co in 2014; since 2023 he tours worldwide with his signature workshop Poetic Body, a fusion of his earlier methods Happy Feet and Playful Presence.
