Milan Cieslar (born 1960 in Český Těšín) is a Czech film and television director and producer. He studied directing at FAMU in Prague and in 1993 founded his own production company, Happy Celluloid. His most acclaimed work remains the drama Der Lebensborn - Pramen života (2000), though in recent years he has focused on comedies such as Špindl, Věčně tvá nevěrná and Dvě nevěsty a jedna svatba.
