Michelle Williams (born 1980, Montana) is an American actress known for her work in independent dramas and major studio films alike. She has earned five Oscar nominations - for Brokeback Mountain, Blue Valentine, My Week with Marilyn, Manchester by the Sea, and The Fabelmans - and has won two Emmy Awards, for Fosse/Verdon (2019) and Dying for Sex (2025). She is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished actresses of her generation.
