Michael Gaston (born November 5, 1962, in Walnut Creek, California) is an American film and television actor who, over three decades, has become one of the most in-demand character actors in American TV. He is best known for playing Agent Quinn in Prison Break, Gray Anderson in the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho, and CBI Director Gale Bertram in The Mentalist. Alongside his television work, he has appeared on Broadway and in dozens of films - including projects with Oliver Stone (W.), Ridley Scott (Body of Lies), and Steven Spielberg (Bridge of Spies).
Gaston appeared in the second season of the Daredevil: Born Again series (Disney+) as Chief Gallo - the second season premiered on March 24, 2026.
Gaston played the character Eagleton in the Korean spy thriller Tempest (Disney+/Hulu), which premiered on September 10, 2025.
Gaston appeared as Sheriff Clyde Porter in the new Netflix series The Waterfront, which premiered on June 19, 2025.
Gaston played the character Daniel in the miniseries Long Bright River (2025) and simultaneously debuted in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again as Chief Gallo.
Gaston, together with Marsha Mason, led the cast of Arthur Miller's theatrical production All My Sons at Hartford Stage.
