About

Meowlau is the solo project of Slovak multi-instrumentalist Laura Jašková, best known as the bassist of Billy Barman and from the earlier duo Meowlau x Val with Valentína Vlková. Her debut album Kvety, produced by Matej Turcer, came out in February 2026 - a candid, at times raw record that moves between indie and post-punk. She first built an audience through solo bass-cover videos that drew attention well beyond Slovakia.
