Medvěd 009 is a rock band from Úvaly near Prague, playing since 1994. Their sound is built on guitar riffs, saxophone and catchy melodies with witty lyrics. The band was co-founded by Vašek Bláha, who later fronted Divokej Bill, and the two acts have remained closely linked. Their discography includes albums such as Chci se jen dohodnout, Hudba vás mladých and Pozdravuj, and they are long-time regulars at the Rock for People festival.
