The seventh edition of the nomadic Trať festival combines contemporary art with forgotten railway architecture. This year it takes place in Hradec Králové with music, theatre, visual art, and dance.
Medard Zeman is a Czech conceptual artist, musician and curator, founder of the independent cultural platform and label GobGob. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and is currently pursuing a doctoral programme at FaVU in Brno. His solo work spans ambient electronics and sound art - since 2019 he has incorporated the fujara flute into live sets, layering it into electronic compositions. Together with Andreas Gajdosik he forms the Prague harsh techno duo Kalich, a live-only act.
On the GobGob platform, Zemanovi's new solo recording 'Návštěva cizího města' was released.
Medard Zeman performed at the Brno Kabinetu MÚZ as the opening act for the American dark-folk project Ak'chamel.
Medard Zeman's solo live set took place at the Prague Petrohradské Kolektiv with voluntary admission.
The opera 'Maják umění' was presented at the 23rd PAF Olomouc festival as part of the 'Deníky' theme.
The duo Kalich released the EP 'Náš Vítkov' on the GobGob label.
