Matt Doran (born 30 March 1976, Sydney) is an Australian actor best known for playing the hacker Mouse in The Matrix (1999) and the death stick dealer Elan Sleazebaggano in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002). He first gained recognition as Damian Roberts in the long-running soap Home and Away (1991-1996), then moved into major Hollywood productions alongside directors such as Terrence Malick and the Wachowskis. He also works as a cinematographer and director.
Doran participated in the Supanova Comic Con & Gaming convention in Brisbane (November 7-9, 2025) as a guest from the world of Star Wars and The Matrix.
In spring 2025, Doran appeared as a guest at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Melbourne, where he presented himself as a regular participant in these events.
In 2023, Doran returned to television screens in the Australian absurdist sitcom Aunty Donna's Coffee Cafe on ABC, where he played a character named Mouse.
In 2019, Doran played Major Noel Ford in the Australian war film Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan directed by Kriv Stenders.
