About

Masters of Rock is a Czech open-air heavy metal festival held annually since 2003 at the R. Jelínek distillery grounds in Vizovice, Moravia. Organized by Pragokoncert Bohemia, it draws around 25,000 visitors from over 35 countries each year, making it one of the largest events of its kind in Central Europe. Its main Ronnie James Dio Stage has hosted global acts including Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne and Nightwish.

What's new

  • 2026-07

    The 22nd Masters of Rock festival will take place on July 16-19, 2026 in Vizovice with headliners Helloween, Arch Enemy, In Flames, and Marilyn Manson.

  • 2025-11

    Marilyn Manson has been confirmed for Masters of Rock 2026 along with other stars such as Dirkschneider (40th anniversary of the album Balls To The Wall) and Lordi (20th anniversary of The Arockalypse).

  • 2025-07

    The 21st festival (July 10-13, 2025) opened the third decade of Masters of Rock with headliners Till Lindemann, Powerwolf, and Hammerfall.

    Floor Jansen performed with Nightwish at Masters of Rock 2025 - it was her first performance in the Czech Republic in this format, and Lita Ford performed here for the first time.

  • 2022

    After a forced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2021), the festival returned in 2022 in an expanded four-day format.
