Marvin Jones III, known as Krondon, is an American rapper, songwriter and actor born July 9, 1976, in South Central Los Angeles. He fronts the underground hip-hop group Strong Arm Steady and has ghostwritten for artists including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Xzibit. On screen he played villain Tobias Whale in Black Lightning (CW, 2018-2021) and voiced Tombstone in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), a role he now reprises in live-action for the MCU film Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026).
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where Krondon plays Tombstone, is released in cinemas on July 31, 2026 as part of the sixth phase of the MCU.
In December 2025, it was announced that filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day had been completed.
In September 2025, it was confirmed that Marvin Jones III would play Tombstone / Lonnie Lincoln in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In May 2025, the action thriller Shadow Force (Lionsgate) premiered, where Krondon plays former operative Cysgoda alongside Kerry Washington and Omar Sy.
In 2024, Krondon played Spartan Louis-036 in the second season of the science fiction series Halo on Paramount+.
