Marisa Tomei (born December 4, 1964, Brooklyn) is an American actress with a career spanning more than four decades on stage and screen. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the comedy My Cousin Vinny (1992), and earned two further nominations in the same category for In the Bedroom (2001) and The Wrestler (2008). A new generation of audiences came to know her as Aunt May in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man films.
