4 Tenors - The Best!
Four outstanding tenors perform the finest pieces from their repertoire in a unique concert.
Marian Vojtko (born 20 March 1973 in Banská Bystrica) is a Slovak tenor who has built his career on Prague's musical theatre stages since the late 1990s. He trained in operatic singing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava but made his name in Czech musical theatre, winning the Thalia Award in 2010 for the title role in Baron Prášil. Composer Frank Wildhorn named him one of the finest interpreters of the Jekyll & Hyde dual role in the world. Since 2017 he has been a member of the vocal quartet 4 Tenoři, the first Czech musical theatre ensemble to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.
The third album of the group 4 Tenoři titled Příběh received a gold record from Supraphon less than a month after its release; the award was presented at a Christmas gala concert at the Enteria Arena in Pardubice.
The group 4 Tenoři performed a Christmas gala concert Vánoční přání at the O2 Arena in Prague accompanied by the B. Martinů Philharmonic and a children's choir, with 100 performers on stage.
Marian Vojtko left shortly before the renewed premiere of the project Ples upírů at GoJa Music Hall; the role of Count Krolok was taken over by Radim Schwab and Dušan Vitázek.
The group 4 Tenoři performed approximately 70 concerts in 2025, one of which was their 350th performance; the tour culminated in a Christmas concert at the O2 Arena.
Marian Vojtko and Michal Bragagnolo will perform with the project 4 Tenoři at an open-air concert at Šternberk State Castle on June 25, 2026.
