About

Marek Vajo is a Czech trumpeter and member of the Czech Philharmonic and the National Theatre Orchestra in Prague. He trained at the Prague Conservatory under Antonín Vajgl and later at HAMU with Václav Junek. His competition prizes include 2nd place at the Jeju International Brass Competition in Korea and a finalist spot in Toulon. Alongside his orchestral work he maintains an active solo and chamber career.
