Marek Hlavica is a Czech musician, singer and writer associated with the blues and folk scene. He was a member of the blues trio Tucet, whose 1992 album became a cult recording in Czech blues. Alongside music, he writes humorous prose — his book of feuilletons Dobrý den a další nechutné sprosťárny being a notable example. With his band The Seladons he performs songs with witty, layered lyrics.
