Marcus Chong (born Marcus Scott Wyatt, July 8, 1967, Seattle) is an American actor of African and Chinese descent, adopted son of comedian Tommy Chong. He gained wide recognition as Tank, the operator of the hovercraft Nebuchadnezzar, in the Wachowskis' landmark sci-fi film The Matrix (1999), having previously drawn attention as Huey P. Newton in Panther (1995). A contractual dispute with Warner Bros. kept him out of the sequels and led to a lawsuit filed in 2003.
Marcus Chong attended the pop-culture convention Chill Out Expo in Whippany, New Jersey in October 2025, where he met with fans and signed autographs.
