About

Marc Martel (born November 16, 1976, in Montreal) is a Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist whose vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury led film producers to use his recordings in the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. He first came to prominence as frontman of the Christian rock band Downhere, four-time Juno Award winners, before a 2011 YouTube cover of "Somebody to Love" went viral with over a million views in days. He now fronts One Vision of Queen, touring arenas worldwide.
