Madonna (born 1958) is an American pop singer, songwriter and actress who has sold over 300 million records across four decades and holds the title of best-selling female recording artist of all time. She built her reputation on hits like "Like a Prayer", "Vogue" and "Hung Up", as well as a relentless drive to reinvent herself. As an actress she won a Golden Globe for Evita (1996) and appeared in Desperately Seeking Susan and Four Rooms. In September 2025 she signed with Warner Records and is releasing the new dance album Confessions II in July 2026.
