Lukáš Pospíšil is a Czech cellist and Principal Cellist of the PKF - Prague Philharmonia since 1992. He studied with Miloš Sádlo at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts and later at the University of Music in Vienna. Alongside his solo career he plays chamber music as a member of the Zeiher Quartett, and has championed Czech repertoire - including the world premiere of Zdeněk Šesták's Cello Concerto with Jakub Hrůša.
