Lon Chaney Jr. was an American actor, son of the silent-film icon Lon Chaney. He is best remembered for playing the tormented Larry Talbot in The Wolf Man (1941), a role he reprised several times. He also appeared in westerns, including High Noon (1952) alongside Gary Cooper.
