Lionel Boyce (born May 9, 1991, in Inglewood, California) is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for playing pastry chef Marcus Brooks in the FX/Hulu series The Bear (2022-present), a role that earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He previously performed as L-Boy in the hip-hop collective Odd Future and co-created the Adult Swim animated series The Jellies! alongside Tyler, the Creator. In 2026 he appeared in the blockbuster sci-fi film Project Hail Mary opposite Ryan Gosling.
