Limp Bizkit are an American nu-metal band from Jacksonville, Florida, active since 1994. Built around frontman Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, drummer John Otto, turntablist DJ Lethal, and founding bassist Sam Rivers (who died in October 2025), the band fused metal, hip-hop, and rock into a sound that dominated charts worldwide around the turn of the millennium. Both Significant Other (1999) and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (2000) hit number one on the Billboard 200, and the band has sold over 40 million records in total. After a mid-2000s hiatus they reunited in 2009, releasing the surprise sixth album Still Sucks in 2021.
