About
Les Gars d'en Bas is a Franco-Czech band split between Rennes and Prague, blending chanson, jazz, swing and world music - with occasional Balkan brass thrown in for good measure. Founded by double bassist, singer and songwriter Grégoire Brun, who studied at Prague's Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, the group brings together musicians from Brittany and Bohemia and sings in three languages. Their fourth album, "En Un Éclair", came out in August 2025.
