Les Gars d'en Bas is a band rooted in both Rennes and Prague, blending French chanson with jazz, swing and folk. The group was founded by double bassist and singer Grégoire Brun, who studied jazz at Prague's Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. Their lineup mixes French and Czech musicians, and their third album "Rien ne sert de dormir" came out in 2019.
