Lance Henriksen (born May 5, 1940, New York City) is an American actor with over six decades of screen work, closely identified with science fiction and horror. He earned global recognition as the android Bishop in James Cameron's Aliens (1986) and as FBI profiler Frank Black in the TV series Millennium (1996-1999), a role that brought him three consecutive Golden Globe nominations. Away from the screen, he has practiced clay sculpture since 1960 and worked as a muralist.
