Lady Gaga (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, 1986, New York) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur who has been one of the most influential figures in global pop since her 2008 debut. Known for anthems like "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance", she has also recorded jazz with Tony Bennett, won an Academy Award for "Shallow" from A Star Is Born (2019), and founded the cosmetics brand Haus Labs. Her March 2025 album Mayhem debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, her seventh consecutive chart-topper.
In May 2026, Lady Gaga released the concert album Apple Music Live: Mayhem Requiem, recorded in January 2026 at the Wiltern theater in Los Angeles.
At the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony (February 2026), Lady Gaga won two awards from seven nominations, including a Grammy for Best Dance Pop Recording for the single "Abracadabra".
At the MTV VMAs in September 2025, Lady Gaga won four awards including Artist of the Year and became the most successful artist of the night with a total of 22 VMA trophies in her career.
In September 2025, Lady Gaga announced the second North American leg of The Mayhem Ball tour with dates starting in February 2026, including returns to Madison Square Garden and the Forum in Los Angeles.
The album Mayhem was released on March 7, 2025, and the single "Die With a Smile" with Bruno Mars became the most-streamed song of 2025 on Spotify with more than 1.7 billion streams.
